True,  the  unqualified  stack  hostname  is unlikely to be used. But,
actually,  the  fully-qualified  stack (i.e., Windows) hostname of the
machine  will  be  used  in  DNS-based  mailrouting,  and it will, for
example, override conflicting A records for the same FQHN.

However  rare  this  problem  might  be  when  it  *does* happen, it's
verrrrrry confusing. :) But just note that IMail and the stack are not
fully segregated (nor should they be in this case).
