No. I just have the path and script name as in
"c:\Imail\client_folder\lists\listname\filename.vbs". It worked perfectly
under Windows 2000 but is not working now.

I have vbs extensions associated with cscript and I have set cscript as the
default script host rather than wscript. I suspect that some kind of
permission setting is causing this to fail. As a test, I created a
test.vbs file and set a program alias to execute it. All the test.vbs file
did was create a text file in the c:\temp folder and write a line with the
system time. When I sent an email to the alias, nothing happened.

I then opened a command window on the server and executed the test.vbs file
from a dos prompt. It created the file as coded. Interestingly, if I make
a program alias that calls a <filename.bat> file, it works. I thought
about creating a batch file that calls the vbs file but that would be the
programming equivalent of duct tape and bailing wire.

Thanks,
-Gary

Are you running cscript.exe <filename.vbs>?
