In order of preference/priority:

2 - double opt-in/opt-out: already standard on many other mail servers.

3 - bounce management: already standard on many other mail servers.

IMMEDIATE auto-remove of an e-mail address that's no longer valid.
REMOVE after X-BOUNCES after X bounces - settable per list or install, with
a default of say, 3?

6 - signatures are already customizable on a per list basis.

IE: The ability to PRE-PEND signature, with removal instructions embedded
within the signature, at the BEGINNING of each message, whether HTML or
PLAIN TEXT. This will force the recipient to read the REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS
at the BEGINNING of each message instead of depending on the list owner to
insert this information, usually at the end of the message where it is
ignored.

The next two are very low on the list of priorities . . .

10 - ability to lock down what the list owner can and cannot change within
the list specifications.

11 - ability to FORCE PLAIN TEXT in specific lists - changeable only by the
ISP and not the list owner. Handy where the list owner is sending out
overly large embedded graphics and violating AUP terms, etc.

        hi bill,

        thanks.

this is more market research than anything and we can't tackle all
of these but curious what folks have a preference/priority:

        1. ability to add/delete single user to/from multiple lists
simultaneously
        2. double opt-in/opt-out
        3. bounce mgt
        4. ability to add/delete multiple users to/from single list
simultaneously
        5. customizing signatures per list
        6. other - please explain

        bye for now,

        kg
