Actually, I'm the king of "out of box" and found Declude to be VERY effective in our battle against spam. I had a few false positives at first, but was able to fix those rather quickly with minor hand-holding. On the flip side, the amount of legitimate spam that is being stopped by Declude has made it all worth it.
Maybe we are just an exception to the rule but I wouldn't operate without it.
