Make sure your current computer meets the software requirements
for 2006 on the Ipswitch web site! But other than that, I see no
problem using that machine.

64 bit OS are not shown as supported by Ipswitch! You would be
experimenting, on your own, if you use that!

Subject: [IMail Forum] Crossgrading from 8.05 to 2006

Hello,

I'm in the midst of cross-grading from Version 8.05 to Imail
Secure 2006

My current server specifications running 8.05 are:

Quad Pentium 3 Xeon 700mhz
4gb of Ram

My New Server Specs are:
Dual P4 3.2ghz 800mhz FSB
2GB of Ram

I am curious if I will have any issue cross-grading on the
current
server. Does anyone have insight on this?

Also does anyone have an experience running Imail 2006 on a 64bit
Windows Architecture?

Ultimately my plan is to cross-grade the current server then move
it to
a new more robust server. If any has any suggestions on how I
should go
about this I am welcoming any suggestions.

Thanks,
JT
