I noticed something odd about how Imail implements access control. I noticed when servers specified are denied access it allows the connection to be established and than it the server drops it. What I define as the connection established is the "tcp handshake" gets completed. What I have noticed is that mail servers that still have this mail servers address cached will repeatedly hit this mail server. It would not be so bad if Imail issued a a permanent error so that they remote servers would attempt hitting another server.
