We do this with our support account which we cc the support account on any reply so everyone knows that it has been answered. From there the customer works directly with the person that responded to the email.

Thanks, but currently they need to know who is working on a message(by flagging it), and then they move it to a processed folder.

I need to keep the 4 people in sync with each other.

Gordon.

Why not force them to use separate accounts that receive a copy of the single account instead?

Hi ,

I have a situation where I have 4 people accessing a single IMAP Account, My Clients are running outlook express, and are starting to have issues with messages being no longer available on the server, I feel that this is a client issue, (http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-20010601-DM01.htm) and was wondering if any of you have a similar need, in which you have a single account being accessed by more that one client, and what mail client you might recommend.

I have set all the client to sync only headers and know that none of them are deleting the messages.

Thanks

Gordon
