Check to see if your firewall will translate DNS queries.  The PIX we
use can be configured to provide DNS query translations for all the
static mappings it knows about.  All our server IP addresses are
private, and our MS-DNS servers (behind the firewall) have the private
IP's in the zone records.  But when a query comes in from outside for
the public IP, the query is translated by the PIX to a query for the
private IP that it is mapped to, so public queries get public IP's while
local queries get private IP's.
