FYI – I solved this problem myself.
It appears that when I created a new domain in 2006.04 it did not create all of
the necessary registry keys. After looking at my other Imail server, I
determined that all I needed to do was manually create one call ‘ICalEnable’
within the domain with a value of 1. After that, I had no troubles with
authenticating to web calendaring Josh From:

[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On
Behalf Of Josh Adams Hello, Long-time lurker, first-time poster. We have recently started moving live accounts over to a new
Imail 2006.04 server and are experiencing problems with Web Calendaring. From
the Web Messaging interface, when ‘Calendar’ is clicked in the
bottom-right corner, a new window pops up, attempts to login to Web
Calendaring, and then fails with the following error: Error Alert Current User: jadams Calendar Access Error Please contact Imail Administrator The title of the error page is ‘Calendar Enable Error’.
When I strip off the ‘login.cgi’ from the URL and navigate to
mail.domain.com:8484, I try to login using a valid user on the domain and the
same thing happens. It seems that no matter what I cannot login to the web
calendaring from any domain I have tried restarting all of the services and tried
disabling and re-enabling ‘allow web access’ in the user admin.
Neither of these solutions have worked. I have also tried using the full e-mail
address to login and just using the part before the @. Neither of these has
work either. Has anybody else experienced this? |
