I could remember wrong, but I thought that the vacation message goes out to each email address only one/first time if you're using Imail server. this is why it keeps track of the email addresses until you reset your vacation message. Am I wrong?

I think it is still annoying to read these vacation messages, but nobody would make a fuss about it if it happens only once, when first time your email box receives a messages from the Imail Forum.

If what I said about Imail server is true, then her email address might not be on an Imail server.

No, there should be no prohibition against using vacation messages and
autoresponders.  They serve a valid need.  They just should not be used on
addresses that subscribe to a list.  Set up an alternate address for list
subscriptions.

OK earlier this week we had an issue with vacation messages to list.  Now
again.  This morning over 200 messages.

I have set up a rule to delete all messages from Liz at least for now.

Vacation messages and auto responders should never be allowed.  Forward to
another individual in your company if you must, but please don't use
vacation messages.
