I use the catchall, and RAR it every night at midnight, deleting the file after the archive.  Tis worked well for archive and recovery for the past 2 years.

Thanks,

Sam

so if we wanted to only have 1 account it would only cost us $5? That sounds a bit too cheap.

We tried for a while the copyall option within Imail and created
a separate account to send all emails. It was a pain to keep up with it,
renaming the files everytime they got too big. Then, we switched to a
company called advisor mail, we send all our email to them first and
they foward them to us. We also use their SPAM features, they do the
work and they are compiant to the SEC rules.

I think you are asking the wrong question. I do not
think any e-mail
server out of the box provides the means for archiving
and search
according to SEC requirements. What are used are 3rd
party applications
combined with features of in this case Imail's copyall
configuration.

There was discussion about this before, so a search of
the archives will
         help you.

I was wondering if anyone from ipswitch would know if
Imail meets any
requirement from the SEC concerning imail server. We
have a customer
that is required to maintain and store all emails from
their domain. I'm
sure others have similar requests and wanted to know
what you guys are
         doing on this.

         thanks
