1: Imail seems to bounce all mail to undeliverable addresses. Is there a
way to stop this.
Are you saying that email, coming in to invalid users on your server, is
being bounced, or that email being bounced is going out to undeliverable
addresses?
In either case, I think you need to have something in front of Imail to
reject, not bounce, invalid users. There are a number of solutions for
this. Some will run on the same server that Imail is using as does
ASSP(http://assp.sourceforge.net/), some require another small computer as
in IMGate (http://imgate.meiway.com/), and there are others solutions as
well. Searching this list or Google about either of those should give you
some ideas.
I use ASSP.

PS. If I understand correctly, you can also just accept all incoming email
to the "nobody" alias and delete it, but I wouldn't do that.
