I talked with ipswitch support. My rules and list issues were resolved by adding “Network Service” permission to my folders and registry. So this is a relief.
I’m told the fix for the reply issue and full names in the address bar will be available in the next patch.
I am still unsure what may cause delete issues in web messaging, but I’ll have to keep an eye on it.

I would get on the phone
with ipswitch and have them walk you through each fix until it works. I have a number of small wrenches that have been thrown into my gears since upgrading to imail 2006. Here are the issues I am seeing with web messaging:
Users are unable to create mail rules when existing rules are in place pre-upgrade. Web messaging instead creates a file called “rules.new” and the rules are not shown in web messaging. For users with no rules, the rules are created correctly in the rules.ima file.
Users attempting to delete files larger than a few meg will corrupt their mailbox until we can manually open their mailbox with a text editor and remove the message. The message is successfully copied to the deleted items folder, but is not removed from the main.mbx file.
When replying to emails that use the format “lastname, firstname” <email address>, web messaging will incorrectly assume [EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED] are other recipients.
List management does not work after an upgrade.
Font sizes are too small for most elderly customers and hard to read for others.
Can anyone give me a source for fixing these issues with Imail 2006 web messaging?
