If I sent a message to an invalid address the server should never let anyone know if the address is valid or not.
Hiding legit recipients among illegit recipients is a really sad, ineffective anti-abuse policy.

That's NOT a problem or weakness of Imail or any MX. Rejecting unknown recips at the MX is the Best Practice.

As with Imail anybody@ alias, he's recommending accepting the entire volume of abuse [EMAIL PROTECTED] and eating it with his mail server, which volume is MANY times greater than the volume of legit mail. Obviously, this jerk has never run a high volume mail system.
