Here is my suggestion... it might be much work, but thought I would suggest
it...
Once you go to the drop down box, any pages that it links to, should have
the drop down on them as well. The reason I say this, is because if a user
is going in to "personalize" his account, he will probably do most of it (or
explore) it all at the same time. this way, he doesn't need to go back to
the main page, then back in the personalize area... I know that this isn't
necessary, but it would be easier for the first time user, and if you can
load less pages to accomplish the task.. why not?
Just my $.02 (with inflation is worth well.. nothing.)

Subject: [IMail Forum] Almost done with the web templates... please keep
testing...
Thanks to everyone who has given me comments and suggestions, the
templates are almost complete at http://mail.hksi.net (username "demo"
and pw "blue").
If you have a few minutes, please go run 'em through the paces again,
and let me know what doesn't work, what looks bad, what confuses, etc.
Some fixes/features now in place:
- pop-up menu for user options (and admin options, but you won't see
those)
- Nicer looking table borders (1-pixel width, matching color scheme)
- Color scheme can be changed universally in ONE place with stylesheets
- Regular Submit input buttons have been implemented whereever possible
- Search form has the "search all mailboxes" option pre-selected
- Signature shows up in message body when composing mail, so you have a
chance to see it/edit it (did that non-feature bother anyone else??)
On a related note, there is a known bug with IE/Mac when reading
messages. The Delete, Next, and Previous buttons throw errors. I've been
digging through the Javascript involved, but can't find a solution. Does
anyone have the answer to this (highly annoying) problem?
