in one of those towns that FLORIDIANS like to retire to (NC mountains). I
think they're taking to the high ground because they know about Florida's

That's cause it's summer and the kiddies are out of school.
It's family vacation time. I've been to FL in late winter,
Feb-March. Absolutely beautiful! Warm mid 70s to low 80s in
the day, mid 60s at night. Gotta love it! A wonderful break
from the junk we get in the Mid Atlantic States.

For some reason, most come in the 5 months of summer when
it's hot and humid. The good weather is the rest of the
year, but only the snowbirds come then.
I just moved to open a new office in NC, so it feels great
here by comparison.
