IN 8.x the trailer.txt will only show up on plain text messages... If you
look at the source of any other format message (i.e. HTML) you will see the
trailer outside of the boundaries so it won't get rendered but is still
there

Could someone help?
I am trying to have a footnote (disclaimer) placed at the bottom of every
message that is sent out. I read a note that says the message should be
contained in a "trailer.txt" file placed in the IMail directory.
This was done and the services restarted but still not foot note appears
on
any of my messages sent. I am not sending any of the messages to the local
domain as he states the note will be displayed only on external domain
host.
Is there something else that is to be looked at that I might have missed?
