Actually, I've been very pleased with iMail 2006.04a thus far. Sure, there
were lots of initial problems and missing functionality in the web interface,
but it seems like it was pretty rapidly addressed (except for this last
release, which I thought was going to be out in "early July").

I see your point about your annual maintenance almost being gone before you get
a version of the product you're happy with, though. Good point.

Just moving to IIS in 2006 has been an absolute pleasure. Throughout the day
my 8.15 machine's procs are screaming. To use an illustrative metaphor, my
2006 machine handles more traffic but never seems to have any performance
issues. It's on faster hardware, but still... there's no iWebMsg to eat up
100% of the CPU.

The one HUGE problem I have with 2006 is that the user database changed, which
broke the Declude "autowhitelist" feature. That's a really important feature
that our clients can't live without. Declude has been working on a fix for
ages. An example of a small annoyance is a mail domain admin can create
accounts but can't change the quota for existing accounts. I can't tell you
how tired I am of handling those requests...

;-)

I would be nice to finally be able to use what I paid for.
Its unacceptable that its been almost a year since I paid for an upgrade
to get Imail 2006 and its been so damn buggy that most of us has not
upgraded yet.
