I have a client who has multiple locations across North America, each location is running an Exchange Server but using a seperate domain. They now want to use a single domain for all mail and their thought is to set up a gateway server that would receive the mail and route it to the appropriate recipient location. I have suggested they set up a server running something like Imail as the gateway and create all the mailboxes on that server, then use a pop3 connector with the individual exchange servers to have each location exchange server pick up the mail.
I am looking to the list to see if there are alternatives that I am missing. They have about 250 mailboxes right now. Thanks for any suggestions. Chuck Schick Warp 8, Inc.
