Not a surprise. We switched from QuickMail to iMail, and the Macintosh
Quickmail users are accustomed to saving a prodigious quantity of old email
in their inboxes. Our quickmail hard drive was constantly filling up....

Yes. The 452 error is coming from the other end. The lines
that start with '>' are what you sent, the other ones are
what the other side answered. So, it would appear the the
other side is out of disk space on either their spool
directory or the users message store.
