I have a client that is trying to use IMAP in outlook to manage spam then just delete from the server. I too use the same method to manage my spam however, if you delete messages from the primary Inbox it shows the messages are supposed to be deleted but they never get deleted. If you move to a sub folder (say Junk Mail) and delete they are deleted it is only when deleting from the primary mail box. Does anyone know why this would be happening?
