Well here’s a little info about my environment.  We are using iMail to host about 80-100 email domains with approx 1700-2000 users.  Any connection to port 25 from a computer/server that is a member of the local Active Directory domain will not connect when using any address other than the address assigned to the OHN.  This I know for sure, the other thing is that random users are getting SMTP errors and relay errors when sending email from external hosts, this just started today.    From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Matt Sent: Monday, September 25, 2006 1:23 PM To: Imail_Forum@list.ipswitch.com Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] URGENT!!!! 2006.1 doesn't accept smtp connections from hosts on local network after update   Did you set the alternate SMTP port to 25 and force AUTH?  I found that the alternate SMTP port with forced AUTH will not honor allowed IP's, it will only allow true AUTH.  This is reaching a bit, but it's the type of thing that someone might accidentally set. I think that if you were able to identify the exact conditions where things worked and where it didn't work, it would help identify the issue.  For instance, if it always works for some and always doesn't work for others, or if it randomly will work and not work for a particular computer that is trying to connect.
