Yes, it is the
configuration file for use with the IMail/ICS Anti-Virus option. Only if you
have the purchased version of these products, would you be able to use this
file. On the site, it is a backup file for folks that might be missing it or
have a damaged file.
Normally, the file
is not considered to be user editable, changes are made to it via the IMail
Administrator interface. However, there are some modifications that can be made
and are discussed in the Knowledgebase, like this one:
