Dan,

We've been having, what sounds like, the same problem for some time. If POP
mail gets checked with a newer version of Eudora, 4.x +, then that user's
mail may not always get retrieved. Looking at the logs when this occurs, I
find that as the client retrieves mail, sometimes the server deletes a
message without ever sending it to the client. I can't tell if this is due
to the client not sending a retrieve message, or if the server somehow just
doesn't receive the retrieve message, only the delete.

Any insight is appreciated.
