bringing up the login window in Iclient. Takes ~20 seconds
or so before the
login screen is visable. Subsequent accesses to the login
screen are almost
instant inhouse.
Slow first login after a long idle period is very likely explainable as
typical .Net cache flushing. There are various solutions, one of which is
to
simply hit the page every 10 minutes from your monitoring system.
That was the solution.
Hitting it with my Servers Alive monitor now.
Comes up fast every time.
