I have no problem telling people to refer to the archives. In fact, I'm
in favor of it. But one doesn't have to be an a-hole to do so. I don't
care how helpful someone is "most of the time".

Jim,

Sandy is one of the most helpful individuals on the list, and has
provided much in-depth assistance and free tools to IMail users. The
reason he and other may say check the archives is that a quick search
would show that this has been discussed time and time again, and many
tools and scripts have already been posted.

I've posted IMail user export scripts twice this year, and their are
other tools for which links have been posted as well, so if you take a
moment to looks through the archives, you should be able to find them in
less time than it takes someone to find them on their hard drive and
post.

Please don't take this as being difficult, but for such frequently asked
questions, the archives are your best friend.

Darin.

People like you really detract from the value of mailing lists, message
boards, etc. by making people who might not be comfortable asking a
question feel even more alienated. Way to go.

Search the archives. New threads on this are pretty ridiculous.
