I have not seen an option in the IAdmin interface that would allow you to
block a nobody alias.
You can check to see what domains have "nobody" implemented by accessing
Start | Run | regedit
Navigate to HKLM/Software/Ipswitch/Imail/domains.
Search for "nobody"

Is there a way to disable a domain admin from implementing a nobody alias?
I'm using 2006.1 if that matters.
I'm not really sure if any of the domains use a nobody alias or not.

I read up on the FAQ about this and they pretty much said that the
problem is that our mail server accepts all mail, then determines
whether it can deliver it, and if it can't at that point it bounces
it. They say we need to change the settings in IMail to bounce mail
immediately before accepting it.
In my sig, you will see two scripts to sync remote mailbox servers
into IMail aliases, so IMail can perform connection-time rejection.
You can adapt the model to any remote mailbox server vendor providing
usernames via LDAP, or use a text file for input.
If your Imail server is also your mailbox server, you should be
rejecting by default. Only the use of the (very bad) 'nobody' alias
subverts this default behavior.
