Hi, Then how about adding an item to the etiquette list:
- if you feel that someone is not following proper list etiquette, first try to contact the participants OFF LIST to voice your feelings. Explanation: If someone is TRULY motivated by trying to reduce list-bandwidth, then starting another flame war is not the way to go about it, because the back-and-forth off-topic chatter it provokes between the parties and supporters on either site will be certain to use up many times the bandwidth than the original (on-topic) conversation.
