It wasn't dropped; that's the way the queue manager has
always handled outbound rules. A virtual domain will inherit the
outbound rules of an IP domain.

8.15/8.22. Why was this functionality dropped in 2006?

Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Copy of Outgoing Mails We did remove the outbound rules for virtual domain
settings, but this was removed because outbound rules don't work for
virtual domains. The outbound rules used when a message is sent
are the rules belonging to host that is assigned to the IP address where
the message arrived.

Is this on the list to be added back in? We
have a number of customers who use outbound rules, and adding an IP for each of
them is not an option for us.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Copy of Outgoing Mails I want to know if there any way to configure Imail
to send a copy of outgoing mail from one account to another mail account.
For example: when [EMAIL PROTECTED] sends a mail
to [EMAIL PROTECTED] the server sends automatically a
copy to [EMAIL PROTECTED] . This can be done at the
server side?
Thanks,
Dino Zolezzi A.
