Tried this and they won't delete. Dialog goes away after a few seconds
when clicking Ok, but the emails remain. IMail version is 8.05.

delete by date or some other options. Just find his email in there and
right-click on the mailbox.

Have a user that at some point disabled his client from deleting emails
during retrieval and now has over 6000 messages sitting in his mailbox,
which is choking his mail client and also the IMail web interface. How
