So you don't feel alone, my reports have indicated rise of about 100,000
spam messages over the last few days, so I have seen an increase. I was
seeing about 430,000 daily spam message, give or take. On the 27th and
28th, I received over 550,000 spam messages per day. I blame the
holidays.

ASSP is open source, free, and heavilly developed. It is however, not
well
documented. The initial learning curve is steep so don't get
discouraged.
Join and read the forums and mail lists at
http://sourceforge.net/forum/?group_id=69172 and
http://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=69172 and visit the original
website
for good startup info at http://assp.sourceforge.net/fom/cache/1.html.
Also

there is an installer at http://www.andersonit.com/assp.html that can be

used to get a head start. It is an old version and will need to be
updated
with the current version but it will help to get all the prerequisites
in
place.

This is a rather big undertaking and requires a little knowledge about
SMTP
and your operating system and lots of patience. Lastly, set it all up
on a
demo server first to get a feel for it before trying to set it up on
your
production server if you have that option.
