Hi all, We are evaluating ICS for a potential customer and since yesterday we are trying to make IClient work without any success (IAdmin works fine). We've read all the doc and kb, tried anything but still have the problem of javascript errors in IClient, so we start to feel desperate. Our testing configuration : Windows Server 2003 SE (machine name = NS3) IIS 6 Asp.Net 1.1.4322 & 2.0.50727 Windows Scripting 5.6 ICS (version 9.1) Folders' rights respect the notes from http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-20060214-JH01.htm <http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IC-20051128-DM01.htm> C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ig_common Instructions from http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-20051209-DM02.htm applied (ASP.NET set to 1.1.4322) IIS_WPG (NS3\IIS_WPG) : Read & Execute, List Folder Contents, Read + Internet Guess Account (NS3\IUSR_XXX) Full Control C:\Program Files\Ipswitch\Collaboration Suite IIS_WPG (NS3\IIS_WPG) : Full Control (in the notes, it's said computername \IUSR_WPG, we assume it's a typo...) Internet Guess Account (NS3\IUSR_XXX) : Full Control NETWORK SERVICE : Full Control HKLM\SOFTWARE\Ipswitch NETWORK SERVCE : Full Control In IIS, we deleted Default Web site (an old school reflex from IIS4) and created a new website, say domain.com domain.com listen all IP so 127.0.0.1 respond on port 80 domain.com has anonymous access set on with NS3\IUSR_XXX (we also tried without NS3 in front of account) under domain.com we created IAdmin, IClient and ig_common virtual directories like said in the notes : IClient (path :C:\Program Files\Ipswitch\Collaboration Suite\WebDir\WebClient) Execute permissions : script only Application pool : DefaultApppool Enable parent paths checked Anonymous access : NS3\IUSR_XXX NS3\ASPNET : Full Control NS3\IIS_WPG : Full control Internet Guess Account (NS3\IUSR_XXX) : Full Control NETWORK SERVICE : Full control same thing for ig_common But voila ... even with all these settings, we still receive JScript errors after authentication : folderlist.aspx line 407 object required. For all the searches we done on kb and google, it sounds like a permission problem, but as you can see above, as far as we know, we have done all the necessary. It seems that we are in the sam case of http://www.ipswitch.com/forums/shwmessage.aspx?forumid=10 <http://www.ipswitch.com/forums/shwmessage.aspx?forumid=10&messageid=17610> &messageid=17610 We also checked http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-20051207-DM01.htm with no success Any ideas what's going wrong for us ?
