I would go directly to the server and try Imail Client . Look the domain and user. See if you can access her inbox.
Or Go back a day or two on your backups. Save the current inbox file to a new file. Restore an old file. Re try to see the inbox. See if you can see the rename file for inbox by changing folders. Could it be cookie related?
