I have a similar problem with 8.22 and a certain mail which kills SMTPd32 - unfortunatly, as it could not be delivered, I can not analyze it. Only the first line of the header gets stuck in the SPOOl directoy, when the service dies. Now I use ASSP to block it on the Adres, I found in the logs.
