What do the logs show for the Queue manager after it's restarted? Does it
start on one particular file then all the logs lines stop? If so, move that
file to a different directory and restart the queue manager (and please send me
the file). What version are you running?

I turned on Verbose and Debug after all of the crashes.

Those logs lines are for SMTPD, not the queue manager. The queue manager
logs lines are smtp- Make sure you have both Verbose and Debugging logging
turned on.

When the queue manager is processing a file, it renames the Q file to
_*.~MD. When the queue manager hits a problem like that and is stopped, when
it restarts the files will be renamed to Q*.RMD and will be processed on the
next queue run.

Look in your logs and see if you find an ERR 005 or something similar. If
possible I'd like a copy of that log line and the message it was processing
when this happened.

I just noticed that some also have a file beginning with Q as well. And
that there are two files with a .RMD extension..

I had a locked up QM. The service was in the stopping state. I killed
the process and started the service and it stopped instantly. I pulled out all
messages in the spool folder and the service started right up. I now have a
lot of files, and they seem to be paried up like this:

      D23af00aa00000ca4.SMD

      _23af00aa00000ca4.~MD

What is the best way to re-insert these to get them to mail off?
