Thanks for the info, but it really didn't answer my question, which was
not knowing exactly what patches may have already been incorporated into
the release I have, will it hurt anything to just install all the
patches available for the version I have?

There is no secure version of IMail before 8.22 HF2 + extra fix, or
9.x versions before 9.1. You may be able to add a gateway in front of
the IMail server to prevent issues, but given your description, that
is not at all likely to happen.
I think it's wise to assume that if you run a mail server, you must
keep up with the patches. There are at least 3 or 4 critical flaws in
8.05 that I can think of, and there were at least two widespread
exploits for them.

I have an 8.0.5 IMail and the customer doesn't want to upgrade (if it
ain't broke...). Just reinstalled on a new box and was wondering how
to tell what patches I would need to install. Is there a way to tell
what the install would have shipped with already incorporated? Or,
would it hurt to just apply all patches for the version?
