I am very unhappy with how Ipswitch did the 2006 thing but I think Kevin is doing a hell of a job for us. We will probably not stay with Imail but we stayed in the game this long because of Kevin. He is very likable and very professional.

Thank you Kevin for all your help.

I have had similar issues with this, but in all fairness it is worth a call to Ipswitch in regards to this. Kevin has done a good job of trying to turn things around, and I'm sure they would rather find a way to keep customers happy than lose them altogether. So we, myself included, should probably talk to them before raising a ruckus on the list.

Darin.

Michael,
It is not irony. It is planned. Doesn't anyone remember the big service agreement renewal push that Ipswitch had? It ended on/or around Nov 28 2005. You got 15 months of service if you renewed.

    Hi Kevin,
I realize that someone with an active service agreement would be
eligible for 2006.2. I was just pointing out the irony that I
will not have an active service agreement when 2006.2 is released
    in March.

Wow! My service agreement expires 2/21/2007, so I just miss it. How convenient.

    Hi All,

We are in final testing of 2006.2. We plan on going "gold" in the
    next week
or so and releasing to public the first week of March.

Current customers who want access to the "gold" build (when it's
    ready next
week) can do so by accessing the Technical Preview site on the forum:
    http://www.ipswitch.com/forums/messages.aspx?ForumID=31

If you just want to try out the new web messaging without
    installing, you
can access it below. Some of the new web messaging features
    include faster
performance and new paging gui, safari support, persistence when
    sizing
columns, right mouse click for delete/mark as unread, better
    attachment
support, base64/japanese and chinese encoding support and a few
    others.

Kevin Gillis told me on the 5th that they should be gold within
    the next 30
days. Since they want to make sure it's as thoroughly tested and
    debugged as
possible, that may not be an exact timeframe, but it sounds like
    it should
    be available in Feb.
