Still working on this spam issue and sure could use some suggestions.
SPAMCOP reports the causes of listing as: System has sent mail to SpamCop spam traps in the past week (spam traps are secret, no reports or evidence are provided by SpamCop) Additional potential problems (these factors do not directly result in spamcop listing) DNS error: 209.237.50.61 is 61-50-237-209.hypersurf.com. but 61-50-237-209.hypersurf.com. has no DNS information Because of the above problems, express-delisting is not available Listing History In the past 10.7 days, it has been listed 2 times for a total of 4.0 days Wondering if perhaps our DNS needs to be configured differently. Hypersurf.com is our ISP but we can't make heads or tails of this error. I can tell you straight off that that isn't why they're listing you; it's a spamtrap listing (as is SpamCop's), meaning real spam was originated, not just suspect DNS. --Sandy ------------------------------------ Sanford Whiteman, Chief Technologist Broadleaf Systems, a division of Cypress Integrated Systems, Inc. e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] SpamAssassin plugs into Declude! http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/SPAMC32/download/rel ease/ Defuse Dictionary Attacks: Turn Exchange or IMail mailboxes into IMail Aliases! http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/exchange2aliases/dow nload/release/ http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/ldap2aliases/downloa d/release/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
