It's a "corporate" decision. I think SM is a good product. After
trying both software, (keep in mind that this is on a corporate network
with around 100 users) Imail was faster (especially the web interface
that is being used a lot buy the directors of the company when they're
on the road).

The collaboration features are also parts of the reasons why the
coordination an supervision team are pushing to change from SM to
something else. Imail seems the good choice. and we will keep our
Declude setup so we don't have to rebuild a complete anti-spam system.

Cheers!

Anyone know if there's an "easy" way to migrate SmarterMail to Imail?

Hello,
Any chance you can expound on why you are moving in this direction? I
think you are the first one I have ever seen move in that direction.

I bought SM back in the days of the Great Migration. Since then, I still
consider moving but also continue to review the latest iMail looking for
the day the upgrade from 8.22 is smooth and lacks problems. 8.22 is
working well but probably within this year I will make a decision in
one direction or another. Isn't SM the smaller company with quicker
patches and improvements rather than the larger company upping it's
costs to offset development?
