hi bonno,
good comments. we'll check into multi select for no
win browsers.
for #2, if you size the message box/grid, it will auto fill
with as many messages possible to fill up all of the newly sized window.
depending on your previous settings (pre 2006.2), you may end up doing more Page
Scrolling (horizontal, the new mechanism) than intra-page scrolling
(vertical).
hope this helps,
kg

Subject: [IMail Forum] IMail 2006.x
Hi,
Could not find anymore which IMail 8.x features are
still missing from IMail 2006.2, nor do I know wheter this was part of the
original webinterface as we extensively modified the original webinterface for
our use. But....
1)
We used to have selection boxes in front of each
mail in the list which could be ticked. Then people could select to delete the
marked mails.
Now we have to use the standard way to select
multiple items in a list. In Windows one uses Ctrl+mouseklik and
Shift+mouseclick. Funny thing is, other standard ways like Shift+curor key
don't work, Don't know what Mac or Linux users use to select
multiple items.
Was the method with the selection boxes part of the
original interface?
Will that feature be introduced in the IMail 2006.x
line webinterface?
2)
We used to be able to specify how many mails we
wanted to see in the list above the body of the selected mail. It seems I cannot
set that number in the preferences screen. Right now I have 123 pages of 10
items each, I'd rather have a lot less pages with 20, 50 or a 100 items
each.
