This was also submitted as a ticket to Ipswitch and we determined that
it was likely that the "Auto deny possible hack attempts" setting was
what was throwing the gateway's IP into the ACL. This setting will
cause an IP that sends addressees that are too long to be blocked by the
ACL. It's designed as buffer overflow protection, but it unfortunately
caused other issues and it shouldn't be used if you are behind a gateway
due to the chance that it could hit your gateway's IP.
The Dictionary Attack Settings are set that way so that they would never
actually trigger. It likely works with all zeros, but this doesn't
cause any issues the way that it is.

I did that, it still kept adding my gateway and other IPS. So far
this hasn't.

Marc, with the settings you have, you might was well set them to 0.

Ok, now this is getting annoying... IMail Access Control is set to DENY
all computers except one particular machine. Three times today I have
had to go back in and add the machine to the list of allowed addresses.
The IP in question will have access for a while and then all of a sudden
stop. I go to the Access Control list and the IP is gone again. This
has been going on for over a week and started happening all of a
sudden. This is IMail 2006.
