I believe there is now a GUI in beta if you search back a few weeks.

Based on their current beta work on a stand-alone GUI, it appears that 
IMail too is moving over to Web services for such things like 
SmarterMail, however it wasn't clear if this would be open beyond the 
GUI.  It's worth checking out though.
