Sounds like the NIC, patch cable or switch port is bad.

The only thing running on it is Exchange, IIS (for the web interface), and ASSP. Yesterday users tell me they're having trouble staying connected. So I look in the event log and see dating back to the 30th of March, Event ID 333s. So despite two weeks or errors, it ran fine up until yesterday. The two disks for the mirror aren't failed. I really can't see anything wrong with any of the services. After a reboot, it runs errorless for about an hour, then Event ID 333s start showing up, about 1 per minute. I'm kinda lost now as what to try next. This morning I'm going to replace the memory, as that's the only thing I haven't tried. _____ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Glenn Bullion Sent: Thursday, April 12, 2007 10:33 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] OT: Event ID 333 Yeah I saw that. I'm down to hardware issues I think. Gonna start with memory tomorrow. _____ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] on behalf of Travis Rabe Sent: Thu 4/12/2007 9:07 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] OT: Event ID 333 http://eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=333 <http://eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=333&eventno=5757&source=Application% 20Popup&phase=1> &eventno=5757&source=Application%20Popup&phase=1 _____ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Glenn Bullion Sent: Thursday, April 12, 2007 5:20 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] OT: Event ID 333 Application Popup. Off topic help for the smart guys. Running Exchange 2003 and Windows 2003. Suddenly getting Event ID 333's all throughout the log, like several times a minute. I'll post the exact error later, but basically it's some kind of I/O error. I've searched and searched, but unfortunately there are so many different things it could be. Does anyone have any advice they can give, if they've dealt with this error?
