Yes, this is correct. The resource kit contains all gadgets and gizmos to
deploy office preconfigured and silent. Look out for "Office Resource Kit
Custom Installation Wizard". you need maybe an hour or so to dive into these
tools, but it's not really complicated.

After generating an MST-File, you can run it like this:

<PathToSource>\setup.exe TRANSFORMS="<Path>\<YourFile>.mst" /qn /lv*
"<PathToLog>\MSOffice2003.log"

Kit....hmm.

Hi,

MS Office uses always the user context to save the preferences of a user.
This it one reason, why the initals will be asked.

A lot of stupid questions can be avoided with a silent setup of the office
product using a MST-file which contains a lot of settings. This file will
used with an typically MSI-Silent setup.

All,

Is it possible to install Office 2003 Pro on a shared workstation so that
each user that logs onto that machine is not prompted to enter their
initials and to setup Word or whichever office program they run for the
first time? I would imagine this is possible but I can't seem to find
anything pointing to Office 2003 in particular.

Thank in Advance,

Travis
