Good afternoon, We're starting down the path to single sign on and I'm interested in experiences or information that anybody is willing to share on their recommendations, implementations and interactions with ICS.
We're a small community college with about 1300-1500 students per quarter and approximately 250 full time employees plus several (maybe a couple of hundred) part time staff and faculty as well. Our records management for the institution is Datatel, so if anybody out there in education is using Datatel / WebAdvisor services and ICS with a single sign on, that would be of particular interest. We have left their email accounts active, even after they leave, so that they can interact with the WebAdvisor system. Our total number of accounts now exceeds 12,000. I'm currently using ICS Premium 2006.1 and am licensed for 2006.2 but have not yet installed it due to stability concerns by some people on this support list. Any information regarding what people are doing on the back end of the LDAP relevant to databases, limitations, etc. would be helpful as well.
