Look under SMTP settings for "Dictionary Attack Settings" set soft error and hard error limits to 0 to turn off these settings. You will need to save and then restart SMTP. You may also want to set "Max Invalid Recipients Per Session:" to 0 as well.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Turning off deny access 'feature'

With IMail 2006, when there are several emails inbound to invalid users
IMail will deny the source IP address for 2 minutes. How do I turn this
off?

The problem is that I'm running ASSP in front of IMail and when IMail
receives the message it sees it as coming from ASSP and stops the flow
for 2 minutes. This also prevents internal users from sending email
since their outbound emails also go through ASSP for whitelisting purposes.

I would just use the IMail anti-spam features, but they suck in
comparison to ASSP.
