I'll ask once again... Is there a way to block attachments on a per-domain
basis??
Can someone help me?
Thanks..

Subject: [IMail Forum] attachment blocking per domain
IMail 2006.2
I want to set attachment blocking on a per domain basis. The manual says
in part in Domain Administration -> Setting Attachment Blocking Options.
... An attachment blocking folder exists for each email domain and the
attachment blocking options can be based on the current email domain or
the primary email domain settings.
I have blocking set for certain attachments and the daily report reflects
that it's working:
AttachmentBlocking xxx
indicating that xxx files had attachments stripped.
1. I don't see any folders relating to attachment blocking. How do these
get this created? What are they supposed to contain??
2. The only administrative controls for attachment blocking are shown for
the primary domain. Does a FQDN need to be something other than a virtual
domain under IMail? IOW, have its own IP address? Should I be able to
block on a per domain basis??
I also run Declude, but haven't yet found a way to block attachments on a
per domain name basis there either? Ideas??
Thanks
~Joe
