Vince, I use Imail and Lyris on two different machines: Imail server has a slave dns server on the same machine, speeding up MX lookups. The same machine also hosts a dnews full-feed nntp server. Lyris server is a separate machine addressed by separate MX names, e.g. mailing.customer.com and listhost.domain.com. The lyris machine has no local cache dns yet as his dns servers are located within the same ethernet.
