Our mail server is set to 20 retries. The problem is delays of up to 10 hours and in many cases it never goes through. I understand greylisting very well but this does not appear to be greylisting. Two senders from the same domain can send to yahoo the same message and one will go through and the other deferred. We see a lot of email that does not go through even after 20 attempts.
