Our mail server is set to 20 retries. The problem is delays of up to 10
hours and in many cases it never goes through. I understand greylisting
very well but this does not appear to be greylisting. Two senders from the
same domain can send to yahoo the same message and one will go through and
the other deferred. We see a lot of email that does not go through even
after 20 attempts.

i had the same prblm but i have noticed that it doesnt matter from which
ever IP or Domain u send it blocks the email........... if u r email server
have feature to re-try the same email more than one time then set the number
to 10-20 time re-try all the yahoo emails will go through.

most of spammers they dont re-try to send the email if it fails to deliver
and yahoo treats all the incomming mails as spam if the same email is
comming in again it will treat as good email, doing this way atleast it
worked for me and now i have no issues with deffered emails.

Regards
Krishna
