Miguel and Bill,

This is related to the IIS Memory Crash that we have been researching over
the past few months. We are still unable to duplicate it and so far, our
fixes have only helped a few customers. As of yesterday, we have a new API
dll available that will properly catch and log these errors so that we can
pinpoint the problem. Also, because we are now capturing the error, the user
should not see it and IIS should be more stable because of it.

There is not a KB for this yet because this is ongoing research and we will
need to work with the customers that have this dll to zero in on the error
by expanding the logging in appropriate places. This means that we will need
to install a few more versions of the modified dll which will require a
restart of IIS each time.

If you are on 9.22 and are willing to help us by installing this modified
dll, please contact me directly by email and I'll send the dll as well as
details on the logging and what to look for.

Thanks,

Tom Lewis

We're seeing this a lot in the past few days as well. I had to restart IIS
twice yesterday. I'm wondering if this is some spyware script in spam doing
this.

Subject: [Spam] [IMail Forum] WebMail - memory is corrupt

It is the second time in one week that WebMail's service remains interrupted
by a mistake of memory. Can someone give me an idea from what it happens?.

I attach a print screen of the error.

Regards,

Miguel
